Festive Finnieston - Pop up shop at the Hidden Lane Cafe
Festive Finnieston - 5 December 2013
Have you checked out Finnieston in Glasgow lately? Along with its great range of new bars and restaurants, you can now avoid the city centre crush and get those special Christmas presents for everyone! Some of Finnieston's most creative businesses are coming together on the 5th of December to bring you Festive Finnieston - an evening of late night independent shopping, eating and drinking!
Pop-up Shop - In the Hidden Lane Tearoom, myself and other businesses from the Lane will be popping-up to offer you the opportunity to buy unusual Christmas gifts, or perhaps something special to treat yourself to. The other sellers will include designer Gillian Kyle , Finch & Fouracre modelmakers, Pink Grapefruit textiles and Pete Gillies Glass and Art. The Tea-room will also be offering lots of loose tea goodies.
Open Studios - Above the Hidden Lane Gallery on Argyle Street, artists Andy Peutherer and Michelle Campbell and jeweller Euan McWhirter will be opening their doors for a unique chance to see in their studios and buy a piece direct from the maker. Across from the Tearoom, Vanity Vintage boutique will be open.
The Main Drag - Elsewhere in Finnieston, Piece, the Shop of Interest, and the newly opened Cupcakery will be staying open late to tempt us with their wares, bringing in Christmas in quirky Finnieston style, and we hope to add more local favourites to the line up soon.

New range of Halo Pendants
I have just completed this new range of Halo Pendants and each of the 12 pendants uses a different birthstone.
Wearers can choose a particular pendant depending on the colour of the stone; but they can also choose to commemorate the birth of a loved one or a significant event that happened in a particular month by choosing the relevant birthstone.
For more information please visit my Halo Pendants page.

New Range of Puzzle Rings
I have just completed a new range of my distinctive Puzzle Rings that each feature two interlocking bands.
The six new designs use slim, oval and round bands to vary the look of my original Single and Double Puzzle Rings.

Happy Customers!
I am really busy just now with a variety of commissions, each at different stages in the completion process.
Luckily I've had a couple of boosts to keep me going!
(1) the recent sunshine which made Glasgow glorious at the weekend. I was able to enjoy a barbecue at my friends' house and attend the parade for the West End Festival. (my 2 year old fell asleep in his pram just as the parade began!)
and (2) receiving this lovely card from Justine and Graham, two recent clients who I made an engagement ring for. The second picture shows the 18ct gold Two-tone single puzzle ring with a 0.50ct diamond.
Looking forward to posting images of exciting new commissions soon!

New Offset Ring & Alternative Stones
I have just had photos taken of new work and this piece is a variation on the Offset Diamond Ring currently available on my website. The setting and the stone are both larger in this new version. I will be adding this ring to my website in the next month.
A client who visited my studio saw the piece on display and commissioned me to make a version with a ruby to commemorate their 40th Wedding Anniversary. I've added a ruby image to the original photo give you an idea of what this will look like.
I am more than happy to create versions of my rings with alternative stones, especially as the stone can have personal significance.
